Vinyl to CD...Without A Computer
The Crosley CR248 allows recording directly to it's built-in cd burner from any of it's other functions: the turntable, AM/FM radio, built-in cassette deck or whatever you plug in to the auxiliary RCA inputs. And it's elegant wood design makes it as beautiful as it is functional.
The Teac-GF-350 and Teac-GF-650 are for the sound enthusiast. They also let you burn to cd from the other built-in functions. You won't find a cassette deck as these units are specifically designed for vinyl to cd conversion. You do have the option though, of recording from your own cassette deck (or other auxiliary unit) via the RCA inputs. This lets you use a "higher end" unit for optimal sound quality. It is with optimal sound quality in mind that the Teac-GF-650 has a weighted tone arm and replaceable cartridge. You can install your own audiophile cartridge to get the most from vinyl to cd recording.
For those who wish to edit their lp to cd recordings, we present the ATLP2DA from Audio Technica, and the ITTUSB from ION. Both of these plug directly in to your computer; the ATLP2DA through the "line in" jack, and the ITTUSB via USB port. Both come with software for recording and editing; specifically for taking out pops and clicks associated with vinyl.
